In Spain, the retirement age is currently set at 66 years old. However, there's a proposal suggesting it could be raised to 72 years old. Seriously? Working until 72, hoping to stay alive, and then receiving payments for just a year or very few years? Not exactly an enticing prospect. Illogical. It's almost equivalent to giving back nothing at all.
