About the World Cup... I don't know if I've said this before, but for me it's been really, really boring. Everyimr wolrd cup is so boring. Until the group stage is over, I probably won't watch much of it.
I watched a bit of Spain's game. To be honest, the best moment was when Yamal came on and the whole stadium started cheering. That was pretty cool. I didn't watch the entire match, mostly the second half, but he definitely changed the game a bit. Players like him bring some magic back into football.
I just hope the big teams get through the groups without any surprises. Otherwise I might completely lose interest in the tournament. Right now, Yamal and Nico are a great show to watch, although I hope Nico gets more involved and finds his rhythm.
As for Brazil vs Morocco, I didn't watch the match, only the goals, but I imagine it must have been a good game. Now we're waiting for France vs Senegal. That could be interesting because both teams are very athletic. Then again, if I find something else to do, I probably won't watch it either.
And Portugal too. Honestly, for me it's basically Spain, France, Portugal and Brazil. The rest of the matches are hard to sit through.
But more than football... F1.
Why do teams always seem to mess over the second drivers? Last year Piastri deserved much more credit than he got, but it felt like they decided Norris was the better story. This year it sometimes feels similar with Antonelli and Russell.
I don't really care that the first drivers are paid more. Just look at Ferrari. Leclerc is a great driver, but Hamilton keeps teaching lessons little by little. Leclerc also looks like he's under a lot of pressure lately because he keeps making mistakes and going off track.
Anyway, moving on to other random things.
Topuria got fucked up by Justin. I've seen loads of TikToks saying Justin cheated, but honestly I don't even understand what they're talking about. From what I saw, Justin beat him pretty clearly, even though Topuria came very close to getting a knockout in one round.
And another thing... is all that Iran stuff finally over or what? I have no idea anymore. Gas prices seem to have gone down a little at least.
Oh, and the Cape Verde goalkeeper went from something like 50,000 followers yesterday to 9.5 million followers today. That's crazy.
Good job, internet.
