Last weekend, I checked out "Baby Taxi". Not a bad choice for a Saturday night, pretty straightforward movie. Had some action, a few twists. But man, that ending left a lot to be desired. I mean, can't they at least clue us in that after five years in the clink, the guy's got some dough saved up for a fresh start?
Anyway, it got me thinking. Why is it always the good-looking folks hogging the spotlight? I wanna see movies with regular, everyday people as the main characters. Too many pretty faces up there, you know? It kinda takes away from the realness, makes it all feel a bit plastic.
