Some Criticism for TechRadar

TechRadar, we need to talk. The other day I was on the hunt for some tech news, and all I found on your site were updates about—guess who?—Google, Apple, and Samsung. Seriously? There’s a whole world of technology out there, and we’re still obsessing over the next iPhone or Pixel? Come on, we can do better!

It’s starting to feel less like a tech news site and more like a virtual shopping catalog for those brands. I get it—maybe that’s what brings in the clicks and ad revenue, but there’s so much more out there worth covering. How about diving into advancements in AI, the rise of quantum computing, or even what’s happening in the open-source community? The tech world is massive, and it’s not just about the latest gadgets from the Big Three.

Don’t get me wrong, those companies are important, but the endless loop of speculations on whether the next iPhone will have two more pixels in the camera can get a bit stale. Give us something that makes us think, something that tells us where tech is heading beyond just our pockets and living rooms. You’ve got the platform—how about using it to showcase some of the real innovation happening out there?
