Facebook Shop

Facebook Shop launch is probably the biggest tech news of 2020 so far. Usually, if you wanna set up an online shop, there are a lot of services like Shopify, Prestashop, Magneto, WooCommerce, etc you can use, but by using this service you sell your products directly on Facebook without having to leave the platform.
There are no maintenance costs. All you need to do is create a business account on Facebook, create a shop page linked to your business, and you ready to go.
It is easy to set up an online shop (Facebook Shop) and the fee is for cards for each sell through Stripe is 2.9% + $.30.
Maybe a better way is to create an online shop and then synchronize it to the Facebook Shop page to gain more traction on Google.
But I think for beginners It can be a very good place to start an online shop and test the products and even after, when you get bigger for convenience reasons you could use Facebook Shop.
After this launch, they say Facebook stock soared more than 6%, it announces to be a competitor for Amazon, and Alphabet and Facebook Shop could open some billion-dollar new market. So it is a kinda big thing.
This summer Zuckerberg announced the launch of Instagram Shop too.
