If Trump returns as president, do you really think his so-called “friendship” with Putin would be enough to stop support for Ukraine? More importantly, do you believe it would actually end the war in Ukraine? Maybe it would have some effect—who knows—but it’s hard to say it’d be that simple.
As for his opponent in the race, on paper, the proposals sound promising: paid family leave, affordable housing, free tuition for low- and middle-income families, and supporting women’s right to choose. But then you see the proposed tax rate jumping from 21% to 35%, and… oof.
From an outsider’s perspective, Trump might make things more entertaining (for better or worse). But honestly, I have no clue what’s better for the U.S. between these two so I won't give my opinion. I don’t usually follow election politics closely.
If I had to throw out two snarky points—because why not?—here they are:
Trump was president during COVID - uuu
Kamala is… a woman! (Just kidding.) Some people claim Kamala hasn’t really had a substantial conversation on TV, so it’ll be interesting to see how she handles a debate against Trump.
